Amtrak
AMTRAK, the US National Railroad Passenger Corporation, operates a nationwide rail network, serving more than 500 destinations, in 46 states, on 21,000 miles of routes with approximately 19,000 employees. Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor is the busiest railroad in North America, with over 1,700 trains, operating over some portions of the Washington – Philadelphia- New York – Boston route every day.
