Appointed press office in January 2011, MC performed an exceptional number of activities that generated a media coverage valued over $ 1.2 million:
- Press Conference at BIT, HE the Ambassador and 3 journalists/writers presented the destination to 70 media outlets;
- Press trip in May with 6 journalists;
- Sri Lanka & Maldives’s Marcopolo TV communication project, including filming a reportage of 10 episodes, advertising campaign on Marcopolo TV web site with strong sales components, advertising and editorials on Marcopolo monthly magazine;
- Sri Lanka & Maldives press conference at TTG Incontri tourism trade show to launch the Marcopolo TV communication project.
